I like this photo, but it's not the best because of the position of the figs. It makes the photo seem off balance with the size of the leaves.

Angles Assignment

I actually took 7 pictures of the figs on our tree, and thought this one was best. I shot it from underneath the tree. I like the clarity of the figs.

This is my posing subject in a chair. Actually, he got caught sleeping on the kitchen chair; something new for him. I liked the colors in this photo, but I'll try something else also.

Evening Rainbow over Barn

My first real photo taken with the new camera, a Nikon D70s. Evening rainbow over the barn in the field on 202. Mt. Si is to the left. Bruce and I were parked waiting for the elk to come graze in the field, but only two showed and it was too dark by then. The rainbow made it worth the wait.

Houston Sunset

I took this picture from my hotel room window. It's one of the most gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen, over a lake in Houston (Clear Lake?), in September 2005.

This Heron seemed to say, "If you're quiet and don't scare away my dinner, I'll pose for you."

This is one of my favorite photos. I took it early in the morning (o.k., 6 a.m.), and the dew was still on the daisy. The bee seemed to be sleeping and stayed posed while I took several shots.

"And for my next trick..."

"Well, I'll just try a little taste, if you don't mind."

I love this photo of Jack. He was waiting to see if his daddy was going to come through the gate.
